The US Water Alliance is proud to release the fourth policy brief in its seven-part One Water for America Policy Framework: Blend Public and Private Expertise to Address Water Infrastructure Needs. For the nation at large, to attract more investment and innovation to water management, we need to address barriers to putting private money and expertise to work, while making sure that communities' needs are met and all partners benefit.
This policy brief identifies issues like developing a common understanding of public-private project delivery models, understanding newer models for private investment in water infrastructure, and integrating social impact investment into the menu of financing options. The brief connects those issues with policy solutions at the national, state, regional, and local levels. These groundbreaking solutions were identified from the insight of nearly 500 people across 15 different listening sessions.
Accompanying the Policy Framework is a seven-part webinar series, which you can register for now!
